Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer in Greenville, SC. You will patrol a distribution facility, monitor access points, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, documenting activity, and coordinating with site leadership. A high school diploma and background check are required, with some guards card/badge experience preferred.

• Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license; comfortable using a computer or tablet; badge experience preferred; guardian/guard card preferred; 18+ for unarmed roles; high school diploma or equivalent; background check as required by law; drug screen per policy; licensing as required by state/local laws.

As an unarmed Security Officer at a retail distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
