Job summary

Allied Universal in Concord, NC seeks a part-time Security Officer Screening Coordinator to protect and serve clients across diverse locations. You will screen personnel, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while providing professional customer service to employees, visitors, and deliveries.

You will work a day-time schedule with weekends as indicated, using screening technology and site procedures to maintain a secure environment for personnel and operations.

Qualifications

• Possess supervisory experience.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and authorized deliveries entering the distribution location in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor and delivery activity using required logs and systems.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
