Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer at our High Point, NC location to staff the front desk, greet visitors, verify credentials, and manage access control. You will support a secure, professional environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, review visitor and delivery activity, and report unusual or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while providing professional reception support.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, review visitor and delivery activity, and report unusual or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while providing professional reception support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
