Qualifications

• Driver’s license required for driving positions only if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and vehicles following access-control and screening protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping documents, and report discrepancies to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly per emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility perimeter, loading areas, and parking locations and report security concerns.

As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening people and/or materials, and reporting security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and vehicles as assigned, following established access-control and screening protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation, and report discrepancies to site leadership or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, loading areas, and parking locations, and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
