Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Screening Systems Monitor in Indianapolis, IN to safeguard facilities and support daily operations. You will screen people and property, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and personal property in accordance with applicable procedures for a logistics and distribution location.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections of persons, vehicles, and/or items as assigned, reporting prohibited or suspicious items and policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, loading areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
