Responsibilities

• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and vehicles entering or leaving the location in line with post orders.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping documents, report unauthorized activity to leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas, docks, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and vehicles entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with post orders and site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping‑related documentation, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading docks, trailers, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
