Allied Universal in Ladson, SC is seeking a Security Officer Entrance Screening to monitor access points and screen individuals and materials at a busy logistics site. You will provide professional customer service, document security-related activity, and support a reliable operation through teamwork and integrity.

This full-time role offers $16.33 per hour, daytime shifts, and opportunities for training and career growth within a caring, agile security team.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, background checks and drug screens may apply.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, drivers, and deliveries entering designated areas in accordance with established access and screening protocols.
• Monitor screening equipment and report prohibited items, suspicious activity, access concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
