Allied Universal in Greenville, SC is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Screening) to protect clients across Logistics & Distribution locations. You will screen personnel, visitors and materials, maintain access logs, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Position type: Full Time. Pay rate: $15.24 per hour. Schedule includes evening shifts: Tue–Fri 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, with varying days. Allied Universal supports growth, benefits, and a culture of integrity.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Verify authorized access credentials and maintain accurate logs of screening activity, visitor access, and incidents as required.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited items, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, facility grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
