Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) for Screening Operations in Georgetown, KY. You will screen individuals and items, monitor access points, and report security concerns to maintain a safe environment at a logistics and distribution site.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and authorized deliveries entering designated areas by verifying credentials, following established screening procedures, and reporting discrepancies to site leadership.
• Monitor screening equipment, entry points, and assigned areas for prohibited items, unauthorized access attempts, and/or unusual activity; elevate concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned operational areas, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
