As a Screener with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help support a welcoming, orderly environment by screening visitors and personnel, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with stakeholders. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, report concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Guided by integrity, teamwork, agility, reliability, and innovation, you will play an important role in daily operations.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology‑focused location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established access‑control procedures; verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor and screening documentation.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and assigned areas for unusual activity, prohibited items, or policy concerns, helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, access points, and the business perimeter; document observations and report maintenance, access‑control, or security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
