Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a Patrol and Customer Support role in Hershey, PA. You will safeguard employees, visitors, and operations at a food and beverage location while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication.

Your schedule varies with DayTime and Night shifts; this position emphasizes responsiveness, incident handling, and collaboration with site leadership. A background check and drug screen are required by policy.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access concerns, medical emergencies, fire alarms, and facility-related disruptions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production-area exterior, parking areas, loading docks, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, including unsecured doors, damaged fencing, delivery traffic concerns, and emergency equipment issues, following site-specific reporting procedures.
