Allied Universal in Hershey, PA is seeking a part-time Security Officer to patrol and manage recordkeeping at a food and beverage location. You will support access control, monitor areas, and maintain a visible security presence during night shifts.

• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials per site rules.
• Document observations and patrol activities and communicate with leadership and site contacts.

You will support access control and badge procedures, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific access-control requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
