Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Badge Support in Hershey, PA. The role involves patrolling a food & beverage site, maintaining a strong presence, and assisting employees and visitors with professionalism.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, solid customer service experience, and the ability to perform access control tasks. 18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles where applicable.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Badge Support in Hershey, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and loading or shipping areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and access-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
