Job summary

Allied Universal in Mountain Top, PA is seeking a part-time unarmed Security Officer to patrol a food and beverage location and provide exceptional customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, monitor access points, and document activities while supporting a safe, welcoming environment.

The role offers a flexible schedule with overnight shifts (Fri-Sat), a $17.00 per hour pay rate, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic security team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries while maintaining required logs and documentation.
• Report unusual activity, facility concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
