• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner per site procedures.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities and communicate to leadership.

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Recordkeeping in Hershey, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge procedures, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour

Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific access-control requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
