Allied Universal in Mangonia Park, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for overnight shifts in a healthcare setting. You will provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and respond to incidents following established protocols.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security-related situations, including interactions involving restricted areas and individuals requiring assistance, while delivering exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escort requests as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
