Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol in Mount Pleasant, PA to protect patients, visitors and staff in a healthcare setting. You will monitor entrances, perform unarmed patrols, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers flexible day shifts via the Claim a Shift platform, a competitive hourly rate of $17, and opportunities for training and career growth within a nationwide security leader.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies; provide directions and assist with maintaining an orderly environment for patients and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
