Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a Residential Healthcare Facility in New York. • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, resident areas, parking, entrances and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity to leadership.
• Document incidents and patrol activities, and communicate findings to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare rehabilitation setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to routine security-related needs with integrity, teamwork, and care.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare facility, resident areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
