Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Mount Pleasant, PA to safeguard patients, visitors and staff within a Healthcare setting. You will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour with daytime schedules; a flexible, team-oriented environment and opportunities to grow within North America's leading security and facility services company are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted per federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; provide directions and maintain orderly environment for patients and visitors.
• Document incidents and patrol activity accurately and promptly, communicating with supervisors and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies; provide directions and assist with maintaining an orderly environment for patients and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
