Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations will be conducted as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A pre-employment drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access activity and visitor entry procedures, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate contacts according to site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a visible patrol presence, professional communication, and timely reporting of hazards, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
