Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for part-time monitoring in Anderson, South Carolina. You will patrol, deter security incidents, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service to clients across manufacturing and industrial sites.

You can build a schedule using our Claim a Shift platform and earn by taking extra shifts. The role emphasizes integrity, clear communication, and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients by applying security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs.
• Communicate clearly with employees, contractors, visitors, and responders.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
