Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed for Weekend shifts in Anderson, SC. In a manufacturing and industrial setting, you will patrol and monitor to deter incidents and deliver courteous, professional customer service.

As a part-time role, you can build a flexible schedule using our Claim a Shift platform. A valid driver's license, high school diploma, and pass background checks are required; training and career

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, loading docks, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document security-related incidents and observations.
• Help maintain orderly operations by reporting unusual activity, hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel.

What You'll Do

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document security-related incidents and observations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
