Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time) at Blythewood, SC. The role focuses on unarmed patrols, access control, and customer service within a manufacturing/industrial setting. You will maintain a visible presence, document observations, and support safety procedures across shifts.

Flexible schedule format with a shift-based lineup. Minimum requirements include 2+ years in security or law enforcement and a high school diploma; background check and drug screening are required.

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet; customer service experience preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is a plus.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, office spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Help support a professional, orderly workplace by communicating observations and concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
