As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.41 / Hour

Job Schedule

Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and maintain accurate access records.
• Monitor entry points, loading areas, and other assigned locations for unusual activity, prohibited items, and policy violations; promptly report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
