Qualifications

• Background check as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while executing site procedures and security screening at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or packages in accordance with site policies, documenting and reporting prohibited items, irregularities, or access concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping documentation, and maintain controlled access to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following emergency procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, report hazards, damage, or unusual activity to leadership and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.41 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related screening activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or packages in accordance with site policies, documenting and reporting prohibited items, irregularities, or access concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping‑related documentation as required, and help maintain controlled access to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including business operations and perimeter locations, and report observed hazards, damage, or unusual activity to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
