Qualifications

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Screen incoming/outgoing personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicles per site procedures.
• Verify identification, visitor authorizations, shipments, and delivery credentials.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow emergency procedures when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, facilities, and perimeter areas.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with established site procedures.
• Verify identification, visitor authorizations, shipping documentation, and/or delivery credentials before permitting access to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, loading areas, business facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
