Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Customer Support in Jonestown, PA to serve clients, deter incidents, and maintain a visible security presence at a logistics and distribution location. Responsibilities

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges is essential for maintaining a secure environment.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using technology is crucial for monitoring systems and reporting incidents effectively.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): Strong customer service skills are vital for interacting with the public and ensuring a positive experience while maintaining security protocols.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the building exterior, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and trailer areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity through required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
