Allied Universal® is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial site in Greenville, SC. You will monitor and patrol, manage access control, and respond to alarms while delivering excellent customer service in a welcoming environment.

The role offers a flexible schedule (Sat-Sun), exposure to smart tools for shift claiming, and opportunities for training and career growth within a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional workplace environment by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and alarm panel activities, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
