Allied Universal in San Jose, CA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Dispatch Incident Coordinator to protect our clients across high-tech environments. You will coordinate security communications, monitor activity, and dispatch response while maintaining clear logs and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and regulations.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch service calls, alarms, incidents, and requests using radios, telephones, and computer-based dispatch systems.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation with call details and response status.
• Monitor communications and security systems, escalating critical situations per site procedures.
• Coordinate with onsite personnel and emergency responders during incidents and provide timely information.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch service calls, alarms, incidents, and requests to appropriate personnel using radios, telephones, and computer-based dispatch systems.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation, including call details, response status, visitor or contractor information, and other security-related activity.
• Monitor communications and available security-related systems, escalating critical situations according to site procedures and responding in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Coordinate with onsite personnel and emergency responders during incidents, providing timely information and supporting orderly response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
