Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, trailer yard, business areas, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns, unauthorized access, and unusual activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control events accurately in accordance with site procedures.

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
