Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Driver Badge Control in Union City, TN. The role offers flexible, reliable hours with a fixed anchor shift and the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $16.75 per hour. The schedule includes DayTime Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM. Experience in access control, badge handling, and customer service is preferred, with a six-month anchor shift commitment at a designated site.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the food and beverage production location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control observations accurately in accordance with site-specific procedures.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
