• Control entry/exit of vehicles, deliveries, and personnel following site procedures for truck traffic and loading zones.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, solution‑oriented manner and communicate observations to site contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, perimeter, parking, and loading zones to deter unauthorized activity.

3.1 Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)

• Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with access control systems and badge management.
• Experience in managing access to secure areas and understanding of safety protocols is preferred.
• Candidates may be required to provide examples of previous roles where they utilized access control systems.

3.2 Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)

• Candidates must exhibit proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks.
• Familiarity with basic software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, email platforms) is essential.
• Candidates may be assessed through practical tests or interviews to evaluate their comfort level with technology.

3.3 Customer Service Experience (B219)

• Candidates must have prior experience in customer service roles.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and provide exceptional service is required.
• Candidates should be prepared to discuss specific scenarios where they successfully handled customer inquiries or complaints.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access‑control records in accordance with site policies.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles, deliveries, and personnel, following established procedures for truck traffic, loading areas, and restricted locations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
