Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Badge Administration in Fort Myers, FL. You will serve clients across government and other facilities, protect people and property, and help ensure smooth access control.

Qualifications

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and authorized personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain access logs and records at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns in a calm, structured manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and other authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a government transportation facility, verify credentials and authorizations, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access‑related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with the public and site personnel, provide directions and assistance, and report observed conditions, incidents, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
