Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or public agency personnel by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for access, maintain logs, and communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per established protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate daily activities and observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
• Sat 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
• Sun 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or public agency personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for access, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying emergency services or management when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned community areas, entrances, amenities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communications with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding daily activities, incidents, and access-control observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
