• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify security concerns and ensure entry points are secure.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate security information to leadership.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
