Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Entry Control in Boise, ID. You will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and deliver professional visitor and employee communications in a security-focused environment.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour and night shift scheduling, supporting a dynamic, technology-driven site. You will help deter incidents while maintaining safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and may be required prior to employment.

As a Security Officer - Entry Control in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide professional communication to visitors and personnel. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-control logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access for contractors, deliveries, and authorized personnel at a construction-related technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, entry points, and construction-related work areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
