As a Security Officer - Full Time Ingress Control in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a dynamic technology and communications construction location by managing site entry, verifying credentials, monitoring access points, and conducting routine patrols. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry credentials for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with established site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records; issue and retrieve temporary credentials as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned construction-related areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
