As a Security Officer Part Time Access Point in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the property by verifying credentials, managing visitor sign-in processes, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-related logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, reporting unusual activity or policy violations to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
