• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; assist with visitor direction and access control procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate information to site leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and assist students, staff, and visitors with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout academic buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and authorized access points; assist with visitor direction and access control procedures as assigned.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
