Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Control Patrol in Delray Beach, FL to safeguard residents and property across commercial real estate and residential sites. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

Shifts are Thursday, Friday, Sunday afternoons; pay rate is $15.92 per hour. This role emphasizes a visible presence, incident reporting, and collaboration with site leadership;

Qualifications

• Possession of a guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or vendors per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, inquiries, and critical situations calmly and document actions.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs; communicate with leadership.

Pay Rate: $15.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 03:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at residential and commercial property locations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, resident or tenant inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and property perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
