Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Support in Delray Beach, FL to guard clients across Commercial Real Estate and similar settings. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

This position emphasizes visible presence, clear communication, and deterrence of security incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entrances, verify authorized access credentials, manage visitor and contractor sign-in procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, building entrances, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
