Armorous in San Francisco is hiring a Security Officer for Retail/Residential Building to safeguard properties, deter crime, and protect people across day-to-day operations. The role requires vigilance, solid decision-making, and excellent communication to handle incidents during nightly tours and de-escalation.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
• 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate ( BSIS).
• 32-hour continuing education certificates (BSIS).
• Experience working graveyard shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain alert and proactive in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter crime and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergencies.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates.

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc.
Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers at this location are responsible for hourly tours, deescalation, and maintaining a presence during your shift.

Shifts:
Friday - - - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Saturday - - - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Sunday - - - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Monday - - - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Tuesday - - - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

**40 hours per week**

Compensation:

$21.00/hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:
