Job summary

Armorous is seeking a Security Officer for HOA neighborhoods with a patrol vehicle. You will safeguard properties, deter criminal activity, and protect businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, with hourly patrols and on-site presence.

Responsibilities include reporting incidents, maintaining safety, and communicating with the team. Earn $21.00/hour with opportunities for overtime, benefits, and professional growth within Armorous.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
• Current BSIS compliance: e.g. 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate and 32-hour CE certificates.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate company/site vehicles safely.
• Experience working graveyard shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Remain alert and proactive in high-pressure situations.

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter crime and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergencies.
• Document daily activity and incidents in reports.
• Communicate security updates and concerns to supervisors.

Position/Titles:

• Security Officer for HOA Neighborhood with Patrol Vehicle

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc.
Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers will do hourly patrols through out the neighborhood, ensure there are no trespassers, and prevent any misconduct on site. Continuous responses to community members when needed, and clearing of park premises after hours.

Shifts:

Friday - - - 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Saturday - - - 9:00 PM - 5:00 PM
16 Hours per week guaranteed, plus opportunity for additional hours!

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:
