Job summary

Securitas USA Milwaukee, WI is seeking a part-time Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies with calm, professional conduct.

No prior experience required; training is provided. The role offers comprehensive benefits and weekly pay, with opportunities to move into a full-time position as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer/tech skills.
• Security, law enforcement or military experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with strong customer service.
• Remain calm under pressure and vigilant on shift.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgement and escalation.
• Strong observational, communication, and quick decision-making skills.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
