Job summary

Securitas, Inc. seeks a part-time Security Officer for weekend coverage at sites in Stevens Point, WI and Mosinee, WI. The role involves patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to keep people and property safe.

No experience is required, with on-the-job training and week-by-week scheduling. Applicants should be able to work independently, maintain calm under pressure, and deliver quality customer service in a security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Above average computer/technology skills required.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience is a plus.
• Able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment for employees, customers and visitors.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
• Conduct conflict resolution and de-escalation.

Security Officer — Part Time

Site Location: Steven's Point, WI / Mosinee, WI

Wage: $15.45-$17.92/HR

Schedule: Weekends only

No Experience Necessary,

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
