Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for a perimeter patrol position in East Longmeadow, MA. You will provide customer service, monitor access, and conduct patrols to deter incidents while upholding site policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with entry procedures, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and maintenance-related observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
