Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior, exterior, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.

Job Schedule:

• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site protocols.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
