Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Boston, MA. Earn $22.05 per hour with a schedule that includes weekend shifts and potential for additional shifts through our Claim a Shift platform.

As part of a leading security and facility services company, you will provide customer service, perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professionalism. A background check and driving eligibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, visitor activity, and authorized access in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
