Allied Universal in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Image Review to provide reliable, flexible hours at a designated site. You will screen, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while maintaining customer service standards.

The role offers a fixed anchor shift with a six-month commitment and a pay rate of $17.22 per hour, plus the option to earn more by picking up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• X-Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery partners by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and property entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization for entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Image Review in Indianapolis, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
