Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observation in Reno, NV. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and provide superior customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while upholding site policies and safety protocols.

This full-time role requires 18+, a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening where permitted.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observation in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports while maintaining professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
